The most sweetest thing is, she brought us souvenirs all the way from London.

This Ramadhan I will be busy maybe. Hihi. Well, first thing I like to do for this year is to forgive and forget the past. Last year Ramadhan, there are so much drama going on. Hopefully less drama this year but more good project will come. InsyaAllah.

{LovelyIdeas} Less than 100 days!

The sense of nervousness had came to me now. Like seriously I have done only a few things. Really a few things and there is so much to do. This and that. Let me count the days..1, 2, 3...erk less than 100 days to go. So many ideas, so many to choose from yet few things yet not completed. Ok, nervous!

Things I thought are cute and simple taken from Anggerik Weddings. Well, I am not really pleased with myself for being so perfectionist. It is hard actually. To be so fussy on the little things do making things a little bit slow. To make things even worst, I like to DIY so it will be based on what I have imagine in this head rather than buying or to get some help from other people. CRAZY indeed! Huhu...Wish me luck people for this less than 100 day event. OMG!

Love the ideas :)

Careful with what you eat and use!

CANCER is a word that hunts many of us and feared by others. It is often related to a horrible disease that shorten the life span of those who affected by it. When we go to supermarket, how often of us read the labels of your food, cosmetics or even toiletries? There are actually some of the chemicals contain in the products can lead us to cancer. Today friends, I love to share with you some of the cancer-causing chemicals that was often used in our daily product and you should think twice or trice before you bought the products.

It is known as an artificial sweetener that is known to cause cancer but in year 2000, it has been removed from the list of cancer causing chemicals although studied still show that it causes cancer in laboratory animals. I wonder, why an artificial sweetener when you have sugar and honey?

Bubble Tea or Pearl Milk Tea

Yes! This is my favorite drinks too! I. The main ingredient of this product is milk essence which gives the bubble tea its fragrance and flavor. The fragrance and tastiness are derives from the traces of arsenic, lead, copper and many other harmful minerals. Besides cancer, long term consumption of these elements can lead to other health complications like heart and blood vessel disease. Too bad!

Potassium Bromate

It is used to treat flour to give baked good a sponge like quality. It is also can be found in tooth paste, mouth washes and gargles. This chemical has been banned world wide except in United State and Japan.

Diet Sodas

The use of artificial sugar, aspartame make s the drink a cancer-causing agents. Thank goodness I am not into diet sodas and they even said that people who drank diet sodas are more prone to obesity. Just drink plain water. Much more safer.

Grilled or Barbecued Food

Cooking food at high temperature can lead to the formation of minute quantities of potent carcinogens that comparable to those in cigarette smoke.

Widely used in skin care products asan anti-microbial preservative in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products and it mimics estrogen in the body. If you have endometriosis, using products with paraben will increase the estrogen in your body and make more painful symptoms for you. Another study conducted by a group of British researchers discovered traces of parabens in tumors of breast cancer patient.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

Who doesn't like bubble when using soaps or shampoos? SLS is an ingredient that generates more bubbles and widely used in commercial shampoos, but it's also used in engine degreasers. It can be stored throughout the body including in the eyes, brain, heart, and liver, and can even change genetic information in cells. It can react with other ingredients in shampoos and body cleansers to form carcinogenic nitrates and dioxins. With just one shampooing, large numbers of nitrates can be absorbed by the skin and enter the blood supply.

Makeups - YES or No?

My biggest dilemma this time is wearing makeups. Really I am not a huge fan. Let me tell you the truth, my compact power memang susah sangat nak habis. Sometime I just throw them away because it has been expired (Ohh kayanya daku!). That is why now I have a new mission. To find out a really great products that will make my skin glowing and use less make up. Well, I don't have such a beautiful skin. Really I have elephant size pores on my face that I need to reduce.

Currently I, using this product called EVERLYN. I hope it will work and have been using it for couple of months. There has been a good results so far. I am not writing this to promote the product but only to share some information. It has been good to me and maybe it will do something good to you too.

  • Light velvety milk deeply nourishes the skin to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Smoothes surface. Replenishes moisture. Skin feels firmer, denser and intensely revitalized day after day.
  • Skin pH balanced. Low irritation.
  • Free of fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol & colorant.
I really have a terrible flaky skin and this too one of the reason why I didn't wear make up so often. Not even a powder on the face. I googled and found that a product found the most reliable products for flaky and dry skin is Hada Labo. Of course I bought one for myself and the result. Seriously I can wear at least some makeup after this.Miracle! No good picture taken unfortunately to show you the evidence...huhu...Selamat mencuba!

    Putrajaya Floria 2012

Today is Friday. Friday means that a long lunch time. Owh Yeay! So, I have decided to grab along some friends from the laboratory to have a nice tour to the Putrajaya Floria 2012 at the Waterfront, Precint 2, Putrajaya. It is a showcase of outdoor and indoor garden and flower starting from 30 June -8 July 2012. The participant for this event coming from not only the best Malaysian landscape and horticulture industry but also international.

The theme for this year was Bougainvillea - Enduring Beauty which showcase the biggest collection of Bougainvillea in full bloom with outdoor and indoor theme garden displays. But sadly I may said that the Bougainvillea was not really a hit. I found that the color was not bright enough compare to other flowers there. I hope next year the theme flower should be vibrant.

    The cute friends :D

    Terbaik - Jo Cendol Pulut!

After roaming around Thailand, my mates and I were taken to a restaurant near the Bukit Kayu Hitam highway to have a refreshment drinks and some food before we hit back to the hotel in Alor Star. I personally recommend this place as a pit stop because the food was so great. Things you should try are the Cucur Udang and the restaurant's specialty, the Cendol Pulut. Simple food but it taste marvelous! The Asam laksa there was delicious too! If I am not mistaken, the restaurant was not for from the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). FOLKS, YOU SHOULD GO HERE TOO!

    Welcome To Thailand!

Saje je nak cerita...Well, this is my first time step my foot on Thailand's soil. Wohoo! Exited even though not that far from Malaysia. Just across the border. Anyway thanks to Datuk for bringing us to Dannok although it was really a short trip. Seriously I'm not satisfied because there are so much interesting things there. memang best. They said the night life there were awesome (only for men I guess). But it is okay, no need to be there at night because I think it is quite scary. For only 3 hours of roaming around Dannok, this is what I found interesting and mainly about foood! I wanted to go there again next time!

Welcome to Thailand...Sempat ambil gambar budak kiut!

    Fruits look great!
Corn... first time seeing the purple color.

    Pekan Rabu and Ikan Pekasam

Last week I was in Alor Star, Kedah. Of course it a working trip. But I managed to go to Pekan Rabu literally know as Wednesday Market at the heart of Alor Star. It is an old market and has been standing there for 37 years. Older than I am! My main goal is to buy Ikan Pekasam...Yummy! My favorite although it has some ewww fermentation smell. Ikan pekasam is fish fermented with lots of salt, rice and tamarind for few weeks (normally for 2 weeks).
